NDIS Dietitian Fees
Hardy Nutrition provides evidence-based dietetic services for NDIS participants requiring support with nutrition, disability-related health needs, eating disorders, ARFID, gastrointestinal concerns, diabetes and complex clinical presentations.
From 1 July, Hardy Nutrition will introduce gap payments for NDIS dietetic consultations due to recent changes to NDIS dietetic funding.
Due to recent NDIS pricing changes, Hardy Nutrition has reviewed its NDIS fee structure. Unfortunately, NDIS funding for dietetic consultations has been further reduced.
To continue providing high-quality, individualised and clinically appropriate care, Hardy Nutrition will now require NDIS clients to pay a small gap fee at the time of their consultation.
The total appointment fees remain aligned with our standard Hardy Nutrition consultation fees. The NDIS-funded portion will continue to be invoiced to NDIS, plan managers or the relevant funding body where applicable.

NDIS Eating Disorder and Complex Clients
Some clients require a higher level of clinical care, case coordination and specialist dietetic input. This may include clients with eating disorders, ARFID, significant food restriction, complex disability-related nutrition needs, or clients requiring additional liaison with families, carers, support coordinators and health professionals.

NDIS Indirect Services
Indirect services may include parent meetings, carer education, support coordinator liaison, case conferencing, written communication with health professionals, school or workplace liaison, and other non-face-to-face dietetic work required to support the client’s nutrition care.
How Payment Works
From 1 July, NDIS clients will be required to pay the relevant gap fee at the time of their consultation.
- The gap payment is paid by the client at the time of the appointment.
- The remaining NDIS-funded portion is invoiced to NDIS, the plan manager or the relevant funding body, depending on the client’s funding arrangements.
- The total consultation fee remains aligned with Hardy Nutrition’s standard consultation fee structure.
We understand these changes may be disappointing for clients and families. Unfortunately, the recent reduction in NDIS dietetic funding is outside of Hardy Nutrition’s control. Our aim is to keep gap payments as low as possible while ensuring we can continue delivering the level of care our clients require.
